About This Journal
The Journal of Medical and Oral Biosciences (JMOB) focuses on the interconnected fields of medicine, surgery, oral health, and biosciences, all of which play important roles in advancing human health. JMOB is double-blind peer-reviewed journal that provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and research findings across these disciplines. The journal aims to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and promote a comprehensive approach to healthcare.
JMOB follows the policies and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and is committed to maintaining high ethical standards and preventing publication misconduct.
Publishing Schedule
JMOB is published quarterly in March, June, September, and December.
Abstracting and Indexing
JMOB is registered with Crossref for DOI assignment, has legal deposit with the Iraqi National Library and Archives (Deposit Registration No. 2796-2024), and is indexed in Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals (IASJ) and Google Scholar.

The official language of the journal is English.
Digital Archiving
To ensure long-term preservation and continued access to its published content, JMOB uses CLOCKSS as its primary digital archiving service. Journal content is also maintained on Al-Iraqia University servers with routine backup support. In addition, article metadata and DOIs are registered with Crossref, journal content is deposited in Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals (IASJ), and legal deposit is maintained with the Iraqi National Library and Archives.
